Life with a “redeployed” purpose

Interesting Today

In our disposable world, repurposing has become very intriguing to me. The gathering of discarded materials, unwanted or broken objects, all seemingly useless, and applying a transformation process to them which creates new life with new purposes.

Wikipedia defines repurposing as “ the process by which an object with one use value is transformed or redeployed as an object with an alternative use value.”

You’ve probably watched those craft shows and flea market expeditions where people search for discarded items to repurpose hoping to find a diamond in the rough. Items broken, stained, and of no apparent value transformed into something beneficial and of great value. Amazingly, people are placing great value on these new creations.

Often we find ourselves at a point in life where we need repurposed.

God Has A Purpose For You

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)

Perhaps, you need to experience a repurposing in your life. God is able to do a new creative work in your life. You know, something you’ve always wanted to accomplish but haven’t had the opportunity to do yet…
